We put resale on the runway before it was fashionable. Goodbuyandhello has shown previously loved childrenswear at Vancouver Kids Fashion Week, International Kids Runway and Glam Z Gala, styling heritage pieces for a new generation. Some of our models have walked with us since they were babies, and they have stayed friends ever since.

What the runway taught us

A big collar changes everything. Put one over a knit and a plain outfit becomes a look.

Tailoring belongs on children too. A small blazer over tulle, or grey tailoring over a stripe, reads polished without feeling stiff.

Mix fabrics and patterns. A stripe with a floral, a chunky knit over tulle, corduroy with silk. The contrast is the point.

One accessory finishes the look. A bow, a beret, a pair of tights in the right colour.

Let them be themselves. The best outfit doesn’t get in the way. When a child feels good in what they wear, they walk differently, and it shows.

What the press said

“The collection stunned with cheeky accessories, layering neutral colors such as brown, white, and pale green.”
Fashion360, Vancouver Kids Fashion Week 2022
“Designs displayed an elevated blend of the preppy and the playful.”

Wear it every way you can

Runway or not, the principle is the same: a few good pieces make endless outfits. A blouse under a knit dress. A cardigan over a tulle skirt. A turtleneck under a sundress when the weather turns. Buy what you love, style it every way you can, care for it well (wash cold, skip the dryer), then pass it on.
